Donation to Support Additional Projects in School
We are proud of the support that we offer to families in times of difficulty which is provided through our school hardship fund. This fund is used to help children with access to extra-curricular trips, food, clothing and, equipment for school. Over the summer holidays we provided food parcels for families in need and the school is currently providing breakfast each morning for vulnerable children. We anticipate this need will continue to increase over the coming months.
Parents and carers will be aware from recent news reports that schools are not immune from significantly rising costs in energy, wages, goods and services – which is not linked to the centralised funding we receive. Therefore, we are inviting those families with means to do so to make a £15 donation to our hardship fund. This is something that the school invites on an annual basis and is particularly important this year to enable us to continue to meet the increasing need in our community.
If you are able, please help us raise even more money by ticking the Gift Aid box. By doing so:
I confirm that I am a UK Income or Capital Gains taxpayer. I have read this statement and want The Westgate School Parent Staff Association to reclaim tax on my donation. I understand that if I pay less Income Tax/or Capital Gains tax in the current tax year than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all of my donations it is my responsibility to pay the difference. I understand the charity will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I have given.
Remember, you must provide your full name, home address, postcode & tick the Gift Aid box for The Westgate School Parent Staff Association to claim tax back on your donation.
